am taking the liberty of distributing it here for our list members.
(2) I hope you will find the spirit of our GUS project (Reference (b) above)
goes along with the one of the Late Rector S. Nambara
(Reference (a) above).
(3) By the way, Rector Nambara was a good friend of
my mother, and he was also a good friend of the Late Rector James Conant of the
Harvard University.
He kindly offered me to introduce me to the Rector Conant, but I did not
materialize it. Instead, I studied a bit on systems dynamics, etc. at the
MIT.
(4) The educational reform of Japan made by the order of General Douglas
MacArthur right after the WWII has now been well established thanks to the
effort made by Rectors Nambara and Conant. The reform
was to change from the German system based on Guild system to American system
based on democracy.
